I've got a mk1 focus coilover kit for my sierra, the fronts bolt up so that's no issue. The rears however are a different story. They're threaded at the top and the sierras ones use a bush type fitting at the top. Now there is a thread where somone has done this but he wasn't very clear on how, what's the best way to go about fitting the bush top off my old coiovers to the new ones, weld? Or drill and tap a thread? Cheers

Could you use a rose joint? use a female one and make the same thread on the shock with a nut to lock it off.

Just buy some GAZ rear coil overs, cheap enough:

Rose joint sounds good but would lack the width and would give little damping. And cossie ones are too big as I only have the 1.6 subframe
