is the astra gsi fuel tank the same as the astra 1.8 just with a plug in it help :-)

Hi people got the gsi/z20let conversion


Got it all apart from the fuel tank cant find one as the seller's won't post it as its had fuel in it


Looked about and nothing


So cant start it yet till its all there really


Iv got a 1.8 tank on the car now are they the same is there a plug in it some where to block of the 2nd fuel line hole so it can be used in 1.8s etc just take the plug out and im of


if not can I make my astra 1.8 fuel tank work some how


or am I deffo gone need a z20let tank if so deffo stuck for now so really need some help




or do I have the fuel return line all ready on my car its a vauxhall astra bertone 1.8 convertible on a 03 plate


if I do find a astra z20let tank will it fit my car just checking

as long as your astra was mpi, it will be fine

Why you say that mate iv got everything from the dash to the front light got half a car

Then was told i need the extra fuel line so got that

But cant get a tank because thay want post it as its had fuel in it

So was asking will my astra 1.8 tank work is there a plug on it to block the 2nd hole up unplug it them i can get on with it

The rest is straightforward just stuck on the fuel tank thing

Don't see theres a lot to talk about really i can use it or i cant is there a mod or some think etc

JASON34665667 we are trying to get & give information. astra spi & astra mpi tanks are going to be different. now we know its an 03 reg, we know it should be an mpi engine but there shouldn't be any holes plugged on it.

Right so even if i brought a z20let/gsi tank it wont go on my car

Just thought the tanks mite all be the same just the astra what have 1 fuel line the 2nd fuel line hole mite be capped of or some think uncap it then i can put the 2nd fuel line in

Iv found a 2L turbo coupe the same as mine just the non convertible one going up for parts

Hoping to get the tank of that hes gone take it of and let me know so can go get it

Ok. Its an astra. You bought astra bits and they should fit. As iain pointed out, this is a nova forum. Have you tried asking on migweb or an astra forum?

A part from the exhaust but my 1.8 astra has a bigger and better straight through
