Hi Guys
Im working on a mk2 boot to go back on my car but want to create a smooth grab handle like this picture.

Can anyone offer the best advice on how to do this without it cracking 12 months down the line.
Thanks
Plastic weld and as little filler as possible.

Want to get a mk2 with smooth handle done just to see what i prefer
Very simple.
Get a 2nd handle. Mark the cut out hole on to a bit of the cut and cut out.

I trimmed the cut/button bit to be straight.

Sand "welds" back, use as little filler as you can, sand, prime and paint.
