drive it and enjoy it, you will soon find everything about it yourself when it either stops working or falls off lol
but have a read through some of the threads, topics, builds and projects, all the info is on png about anything nova wise , happy reading

oh ok I would check it for rust like
1. battery tray
2. front chassis legs
3. in the boot check the floor
4. rear chassis legs
5. under the doors
6. rear archers
7. the seals
there is more just can think at the mo is it a hatch or saloon ?

basically, everywhere except the top middle of the roof can rust.
there is a dash rattle. it is not fixable, its just there..

when you fit wide tyres, one of the arches will foul before the other... its how they were built.

find the dim-dip relay, its on the rhs behind the front parcel shelf thing. unplug it. it won't affect your lights if its unplugged, but it will fail, if you leave it connected.

make sure you have a spare key.

put petrol in it & drive it a lot.

Why the need for a spare key mat there's no problem wi a nova if you lock your keys in lol

G reg is mk1 so won't be nicked by the hazard switch trick they kindly showed on top gear.

Squeeky clutch is normal.

Speedo will probably over read especially with aftermarket wheels.

Thought that was the flair? Mind you my flair didn't have a rev counter lol

Correct. It also came with a sr steering wheel and sr rainbow seats. Also I am sure the rear seat was a solid bench not the 60/40 one.

The sting came with Antibes clocks (not mk1 sr with voltmemter and oil pressure gauge) unfortunately.

Mk1s are great providing it's not a rust bucket, enjoy it.

Get some pictures up for everyone.
