looking at cars priced up to and around 1000/1300 quid to have some fun with, don't care about mpg etc as this will just be something to have fun with on the weekends and boring nights
328
mx5 etc....
what do you suggest doesn't have to be rwd but I would prefer it as my old mx5 was one of the most enjoyable cars I have ever owned!
charbs :edd:

Never really a fan of the E36.... Why not go a bit more old skool with the E30.
Harder to find a decent example, which means he'll buy a crap one in the dark and lose his rag with it 3 months later lol

Just get the nova running, weld it up and have some fun in it. Even if your welding is crap but is strong and passes an mot then you'll be fine.
Rx8?
A£1k rx8 will probably need a £3k rebuild lmao

Few years ago I bought my mum a mk1 mr2, used to find myself taking it out quite alot. Good fun little car for not much money.

I did say I wasn't a fan at all lol just throwing them out there. On a £1-1300 budget it's going to be a struggle finding something fun, nice to look at and reliable. Tbh.
if it was me looking I'd be looking at xe corsa b's if it was for fun.

Get an E36 328 to smash about. I paid £325 for my last one and loved it.....apart from when the drivers door refused to close and I had to drive home with some string holding it lol

feels really tight unbelievably quite when cruising at 70mph and around town speeds its quitter then a quite thing from a quite place.
