Want to do something different with a set of cab slabs ive bought. My cars red and dont want the usual colours. Any ideas. Thought of polishing them but its been done and takes ages. :cry:

I done this a few years ago just testing what it would be like. This was going to go on a red car but I changed the wheels i was using. Maybe not to everyone's taste but i like it.

why not just polish the insert bits and the lip and paint the rest?

Funny enough I tried the above before I went with my above pic. It looked horrendous tbh. I'm sure I took pics I'll see if I can find them.

edit: only other pic I can find. Too much red lol

standard silver looks the best on a nova

They were polished rather than chromed

Polished look well mate. Did a set of stepdowns years ago took ages lol.

They took far too long, lucky for me the guy who I bought the car off had done them already though lol

Lucky then its a ball ache polishing alloys but when they are done they look the part.
