whats peoples views/experiences with running a front ARB with polybushes on a small block nova? ive had a few mixed reviews so far and undecided whether to run one or not...

try it, if you like it great, if not then take it off.

Its massively personal and NOT dangerous (before someone pipes that BS up)

yeah think that's the plan most people have said that it causes massive understeer and obviously I want to avoid that haha

it largely depends on your dampers/springs/tyres/driving style

I tried a few sessions with and without around Cadwell Park and it made it feel less sketchy/skippy and a bit more planted.

its on bilstein shocks gmax 60mm springs every bush is polybushed and will be running advan ad08's (195/50/15) on a set of ronal turbos and its possibly going to be on a few short circuits so hard driving style lol

It's dangerous

so the countless novas produced WITHOUT them were officially dangerous and shouldnt have left the plant?

i did massive miles on 165/70r13 tyres & no arb's in the olden days, and cornering was never an issue simply cos it was how it was. the body roll was a good measure of cornering speed, but i prefer to have an arb

Yep

If it is lowered etc with a good engine, I would rather with a arb, sharpens it up for fast cornering. If it is a soft suspension and comfort you are after, remove the arb.

Stuart

comfort isnt (or shouldnt) be effected either way... its merely an attempt (allbeit not very well designed) to control roll

Screw comfort all i want its rough ride but epic cornering haha

I run without. That's with an XE fitted.

I run without on my rally car in back to back testing with my setup over a rally test track (not race track) the car was a few seconds fast and seamed to have less under steer, BUT it is all down to what dampers and springs ect you have fitted to your car. if standard or close to standard I would use a front ARB,

And how did it feel different before you removed it?
