Inlet Manifold

I have a c14nz engine would a 1600 8v inlet manifold from a mk3 astra be a straight swap or would the ports needs to be altered to match ? I know I wouldn't see much benefit but would I see a slight improvement in performance ?

Future plans are 1.8 Cav throttle body, 4-1 Manifold, De-cat, nova sr cams and that's about as far as im going to go with it.

Chanves are that both are Square ports so should be fine, shouldn't do anything to the performance really. Best thing would be to try and find a SRi head and inlet as they have far superior valves and ports. I wouldn't bother swapping the cam for anything less than a Kent AST1 or similar profile, not worth the minuscule gains

Is the SRI Head still SPI ? I was hoping to convert to MPi

No the SRI is a MPi with round inlet ports.
