So I'm having to regrettably sell my nova I have owned for a few years due to needing something newer to get my young son around. I've spent a lot of time and money making this car what it is so hopefully it can go to someone else who can keep it on the road for many more years.
The spec is as follows:
•Vauxhall Nova L 1985 1.2 ( still registered as a 1.2)
•13SB engine on around 70k, Weber 32/34 dmtl carb. F10 5 speed box
•4 branch manifold with new standard centre section last year and a Red Ashley sport backbox bought new from Ashley around 2 years ago.
• Full brown trim with Daytona check seats from a early SR nova. The dash, under shelf, carpet and front door cards all from a sport. The front cards have speaker holes cut in them. Also includes a rare black coin holder.
•Sport style yellow needle clocks with screen replaced last year.
•Full upper and lower snowplough front bumpers with new toe eye cover. Standard rear early bumper.
•Mk1 type bumper over riders with actual WORKING headlamp washers. (Only one I've seen in my nova ownership.
•Bilstein B8 shocks with spax front 40mm springs and unknown rear 40mm springs.
•New refurb steering rack fitted last year.
•Standard 14inch SR/GSI alloys with all good tyres.
•Central locking
•Electric windows with very rare brown trim marching switch panel.
•Bronze tinted glass all around apart from green top tint windscreen
•Lower vinyl kit neally all gm sourced and professionally fitted.
•Early type boot with wrap around spoiler and early type wings without indicators (drivers new last year).
•Full set of early type square griffen mudflaps all round
•Full set of rubber mats with early square griffen badge.
Theres probably more I haven't mentioned. This car is 30 years old this year so please don't expect it to be mint. There are some marks in the paint and both rear arches have some rust but where tidied up in 2013 for my wedding.
The car was just serviced (21/2) and the head was done when the engine was rebuilt in 2013, this included all gaskets, water pump, cambelt, coil and clutch.
The rear bearings and rear brakes where rebuilt on the last mot. The front brakes are standard.
The mot is due in June. This has been my most reliable car I have owned and has been my daily car for the last 2 years.
The price is £2000 and the car is located in Greenhithe kent
I'm not in a huge rush to get rid of it so please do expect to get it cheap!
