Has anyone done this?

I'm told it's a lightweight wiper motor (a friend has one on a Mk.2 Fiesta race car).

Also welcome any other suggestions for a lightweight wiper motor solution please (only one wiper blade in the middle on my car).

I have an Uno one on my Nova, and will be fitting the same to my other car. Oddly enough i weighed it for a friend last week, so have this.

If it lightness you want and can live with just low speed, look at REAR wiper motor's. Some weigh next to nothing.

I have lots in stock so will see if any look suitable tomorrow.

Big thanks for your help Craig - you must think like I do weighing all these things.

I did consider rear wiper motors, but hadn't had chance to investigate what might suit. If you have a chance to research your own collection that would be very helpful, thanks.

What about a more modern car. Peugeot 107/Citroen C1/Toyota Aygo all have a single wiper(same basic car).

They'll be worth looking at thanks, although I have a suspicion that just like modern cars, their wiper motors might be heavy?
