Alright folks, I would like your opinion what is the best big brakes to fit to my nova. Preferable 286/8 or 300mm disks.

They obviously have to be four stud. Does anyone know by fitting for example 300 mm disks larger calipers and pads etc does this have an affect on bearings, drive shafts etc.

Thanx

the larger discs can cause an increased gyroscopic action on the bearings, but its soooooooooooooo minimal that its not an issue

you could try "hi-Spec"

Spacers on wheels can fuck up gyroscopics, They put loads of pressure on all items from cv driveshaft to bearings.

And no im not a uni boy.

PVD can do the hi-spec 16v "big disk" upgrade, some V6 calipers with 4 stud disks or a Hi-Spec 4 pot kit if you want serious braking.

anything from a cavvy 2ltr or astra 16v will work wonders - youre best to upgrade your servo/master cylinder too to the Nova GSi/GTE one too - its bigger = bigger power.
