Have heard in a few places that you can use classic mini shocks on the rear of a nova when lowering it heavily been told there a shorter body but the same fitting as a nova anyone running them?

Adjustable gaz rears are only £88 delivered a pair so be interested to know if anyone is using mini dampers

That is an option but not really the answer to the question I was asking

Got a mate with a mini to take measurements and it looked as if it'd work but I never followed through and got Coilovers insted

Mk1 cavalier front shocks fit rear of nova and are shorter but can't remember how much

Very little travel in them, very hard, can make the back end skip.

A Gaz set up all the way.

Yes, my Nova had Mini rear dampers on it when I first got it.

Bolted straight on.

I don't know if this helps, but my old spax rears were definitely unf thread. I found this a tad odd on a metric only vehicle. BL did rather like unf threads.

yes they do fit just use the rubber bushes that r on the old shocks where they bolt up to the arch and where they bolt up to the axle u have to make a spacer or just gun them in
