Hey all am going to rebuild my gte engine , where can I get all the parts , shells main bearings rings oil pump etc , cheers

most machine shops will be able to source the lot, failing that some sellers on ebay can source the parts

With the 8v lump running into the mk 4 astra I would try Vauxhall you mite be surprised. I would avoid cheep ebay items

you'll probably be needing oversize rings & undersize bearings, try a local engine re-con place first, and get them to measure your crank & bores

Managed to source some gm stuff on eBay for my 1400 so really down to your own discretion
