the hutchinson is exaclty that though. by an extrnal company called hutchinson.

so its not original nova in my opinion

although in a sense it is. as hutchinson and spiders and michalacs are the only recgonised "originals" because u cud have it done by un known manufactuer as a one off

Very Original D Reg Vauxhall Nova Convertable by Peter Hutchinson

Its not saying its an original vauxhall convertible - its saying that its an original idea i think. Should really ahve said unique or different instead.

They were sold from the dealer so are genuine afaik

I haven't seen one about for a while but I think they were an approved conversion, There is a Corsa Cabrio in Hinckley Area that looks like the same people did it, the roofline is very similar.

Irmscher did once list a cabrio Nova/Corsa A based on a 3 door hatch, it looked very similar to the mk1 Golf cabrio. Has anyone got one or any info??
