What's the ideal castor angle for a nova and how many mm further forward does that mean the bottom ball joint needs to be moved forward to facilitate this?

The works rally cars used 4 degrees for a road car I would leave it as it is.

It's for a scatter/12 car car so I'll aim for 4 degrees, thanks for the info

get yourself some group a top mounts

top mounts wont give you anything close to 4 degrees.

I've already got eccentric top mounts, got to look at moving bottom ball joint forward next

I know you are busy Simon, so it might make sense to just go for a kit like mine, over making them. Im sure James would do you some sort of a deal.

I know Craig, but I like the challenge of doing stuff myself!
the kit you have got is superb, but I'm worried that it will be too harsh as my car will spend it's life on bumpy country roads (and hedges I expect) and not smooth circuits so I want to retain some compliance with bushes,
i will look into the off set uniballs, if not I have a plan ;-)

That's exactly what I plan to do with mine, I have rose jointed tie bar brackets
i intend to cut and reweld the lower arms so that the bushes natural angle is set with the desired castor so it doenst put undue stress on the bush.
