So wash, leather off and a good detailer should make it nice and shiny again.

Yep :)
I make sure the car has atleast two coats of wax on before i leave home.
I then wash the lower half when there to remove dirt and bugs. Using a good QD to rinse off.
I use Megs last touch QD as found it to be the nicest.
Never gel trims till youy on site. As dust dnd dirt will stick to the gel and washing/cleaning is messey when you have gelled.
Never put tyre gel/shine on till on site.
Makes cleaning wheels a worse job and will flick down the sides of the car when driving.
There are quite good 'quick waxes' out there too. Then can really help the car shine again and are easy to do at a show.
Fcuk cleaning it
If I ever bother going to any shows I'll just drive it and park
ANY show is at least a couple hours drive, after that in a nova start cleaning? No fcukin chance

WTF ever!
Stop being a pussy get it done and show the bloody thing.
Takes me just over two and a bit hours to get to PVS or Billing So same as it would you, first thing i do is clean the car. As you would. You wouldn't leave it dirty at all, you'd want it gleaming.

Cheers for the advice been, I might try some of the meguiars QD you mentioned seen as how your car looks so shiny all the time :)
edd - stop being miserable and get your sponge out lol lol
I use Megs QD on the Celica if I want to clean it up once at a show. Works well.
The Nova is a workhorse so doesn't get cleaned. lol
