Does anyone local have a 1/2" impact driver I could nab for a weekend in the near future?

cordless or corded isn't an issue, I just need one for a pair of stubborn nuts lol

If you have no luck the corded clark ones in machine mart are 60odd quid and are fairly decent.
I have a "hobo trick" i like to use sometimes...
buy an item ya know youre only ever gonna use once...use it clean it and return for a refund haha.

Dont need to clean it if its from screwfix lol

i recall pikey ones used to be £20-£30 a few years back but they appear to have beaten inflation somewhat :(

i find that a cheapo breaker bar & some scaffold is way more successful than 1/2" impact tools

Is is to whizz off the top nut from a damper that has a rounded Allen hole lol a breaker bar won't change anything on that job IMHO

Impact gun ftw for that job.

6ft of leverage isn't helpful when access is tight either.
