I'm due to rip the ecu and wiring from my 20xe and fit an ignition only ecu and new wiring. Am I right in thinking once removed the coil wires will still be live with the ignition on and are part of the Novas car loom? When I remove the coil and dizzy I was hoping to use its +12v feed for the coilpack? Cheers

So the wires to the coil are nothing to do with the xe? That's one less wire to run then lol

The wire to the coil is a plug which is part of the xe loom.you have a black wire that used to go the original nova coil that you use as a switched live to the xe loom.

Ah I see, I'm stuck without the car here as I've nothing to look at when I'm figuring wiring out. Cheers mate

When you pull the XE loom out there'll be a switched live feeding the whole XE loom (as well as a perm live etc too)
