Hello, my Nova is fitted with a C20XE. It has 325lb front springs and is lowered around 60mm all the way round, all the bushes have been replaced with fast road polybushes and all the ball joints etc have been replaced recently.

My question is what toe setting should I go for on the front?

Also what should the camber be set too. The car is only used for occasional fast road use.

I like a little bit (1mm) toe out on mine but its primarily set up for track and I'm sure its what makes it a bit scary on country roads

I have always run 2mm toe out plus or minus 1 so about that. What about camber?

I forget, around 1.5 degrees neg I think.

It's 2mm out rather alot?

Its what the works build manual recommends for tarmac rallies I think!

I always prefer to have my cars toeing in slightly. Toe-in increases the cars stability at higher speeds, it also helps to reduce oversteer.

But toe-out helps the car to turn in better and reduce understeer. So really its down to how you drive etc. if you're blatting it round a track a lot, it might pay to have a bit of toe-out.

A bit of negative camber is good too. I like to have maybe 1deg of negative camber.

As above says, there are + and - to both. So i go 0.

The real key is to get the thrust angle to 0 otherwise the car will feel like a mess

You have to watch with using other peoples settings unless you know all the settings and set them all accordingly. For example 2mm in the build manual is only relevant if you set the camber and caster accordingly. 2mm total toe will be wildly different when running 5deg of caster from standard, as would camber behave completely different.

standard setting will be pretty good overall.

Equally, ride height and spring rates will change what the 'optimum' over all toe is.
