Hi guys

Just trying to find out what the maximum power that the c14nz pistons can take as well as the c14se pistons
Also what maximum on the rods?

i read somewhere that the c14se pistons are mahle's, any truth in this?

Ill be using ARP rod bolts as ive read this is a failure point on these

I know turbo-boy ran 187hp on his 1400 turbo + that was reliable

This is for a turbo build im just starting, had c20xe + c20let nova's + now want a small block

Any help greatly appreciated
cheers
james

I dont supoose theres a figure out there in all honesty.
too many variables.

Indeed.

revs 'tends' to kill rods before power does, but then a long stroke engine its the right (or wrong depending on your outlook) type of torque increase can bend or break a rod before revs can.
I'd be willing to bet a sensibly built small block bottom end in any guise would be good for 200-220bhp at the fly depending on the revs and practicality of getting there.
