When I fitted the C16XE to my Nova I came against the problem that this motor seems to have the worlds largest AFM. I didnt want to fit a lump of step-down pipework in the limited space available behind the headlamp so sourced a K&N cone that would mate to the AFM & purchased a new GM inlet hose from another model that would link the TB to the AFM.
Used for only a month or so before I bought the turbo C16 grab a bargain at less than half what it owes me. :(
