Hi,
I've just bought some rear window surrounds from a gsi and I just assumed I could use the standard rubbers, am I right or do I need gte/gsi ones?
Cheers

Standard rubbers I believe, but you have to take the windows out.....

That's what I always thought. But read somewhere that some one was struggling to find gsi rubber so they could fit the surrounds!
I think you might need rubbers from a car that had the surrounds. Think there is a extra lip on them. It holds the surround on...

Hmm... The plot thickens . I planned on bonding them on it that makes any difference?

I'll check later, and compare the SR and Sport

Jut been to the shed, I am pretty certain the seals for the rears are common, they look identical externally/internally, the trim fits into the whole window frame and the seal retains it.
The weather seal and the 1/4 window seals are definitely different when fitting the trims to the doors.
I have pics of the rears if required.

I haven't gone for the front trim anyway as it's not a noticeable difference. Just bought the rears :)
You dont need to glue them in.
