12ST alternator belt

parts place gave me a 950mm belt for the crank to alt. but its too big.

theres a 763mm belt available too. is that the right size ?

can't you put some string round & measure it...?

the internet seems to think it is a 9.5 x 875 belt.

I bought mine and haven't tried fitting it yet. Mine is a contitech belt. It's 10mm wide by 950mm long apparently. The only alternative belt listed anywhere seems to be another Contitech and that is apparently for this engine code with a power steering pump driven unit instead of alternator. That one is 763mm long. Eurocarparts sell them.

Ok so checked with the contitech product site. 875 mm is listed as correct. Their MPN is AVX10875 so the model of belt (width and profile) is AVX10 and the length is 875. Eurocarparts have once again ballsed that up listing a 950 belt. Looks like I need a different one too.

AVX10X875 sorry. Although the AVX10X950 is listed as the 12st too. Perhaps they have different layouts or different alternators???

grant - 875mm fits mine - euro car parts has it listed under the 1.3 model instead, if you do a manual search :

i think there system might have a few errors, as i had to order a 1.3 air filter for my 1.2 too
