Anyone on here used 2 pot rears off the above on the front of a nova?
I'm looking for a lightweight (aluminium) caliper for the front to fit under 13s
I'm hoping to avoid using wilwoods etc if there's a cheaper option out there
Also look at lotus/vx220 front calipers as they are more or less the same but might cost less

Aye, seen lotus ones, they use the same pad as a evo rear but I was wondering if they're good enough to be on the front of a competition nova. Otherwise are there any other lightweight options?
Well. Put it thins way, the Elise's use them in race series upto endurance level at which point they simply need bigger pads to make them last.
i never had a problem mashing my face into the windscreen of the VX with those brakes and the right pads

Having weighed a 236 ATE I had, they're only 3.3kg inc carrier compared to 2.5-2.8kg for the 2 pot offerings so I'm going to stick with the ATE setup for now
I have got some compbrake 4 pots that need a rebuild if you are interested ,they are radial mount and very light ,I got a 276 mm disc under my split rims ,they have fantastic braking ability
