Mud flaps

Anyone on here ever fitted these to their nova. I have fronts already so can re-use the mounting brackets but how do I attach them to the rear?

Anyone got any pics or advice?

Rears have little arms that reach out on them

I dont already have rears and when I looked yesterday there was just empty space where the top side of the flap would mount. I assume I would need the purchase of an additional bracket or the bracket from a mk1 with rears already fitted?

I am so used to more modern cars having everything already made and available that the idea of some basic fabrication makes me feel like I am from the stone age.

It scares me how un-skilled I really am when it comes to stuff like that. This car will be my learning curve I am sure.
