Have a look at my old track car mate, that was an omp cage.
I have cut the rear cage down to fit it in with a headlining

See how it's hitting the dash, stopping my getting the os top sleeve over the top of the cage to put the two halfs together. It's like it on both sides. Dash was scrap so I cut some chucks but still not enough. The ns foot of the cage sits flat but os ain't nowhere near and i don't mind cutting the dash to fit it just don't seem right.

also the rear most bars don't seem to sit properly in the arches and the middle bars have very little floor to bolt onto

May aswell revive this tread rather than start a new one, do the omp cages come with mounting plates?
Spreader plates can be made out of 3mm thick bits of steel cut to the right size.
Whilst I'm looking at the pics of the redcage, why on earth you'd cut and shut a rollcage 5 inches from the bottom instead of cutting the feet off and rewelding new feet onto a shorter tube is beyond me.

Sorry re reading it didn't mean that quite as much of a dig! Sounds like you'll sort it to be better :)
Front spreaders are quite flat but the b pillars will need a bit of an s shape in them
