big block xe upgrades thoughts

ok so i have a c20xe that will go in my nova for a while i have a sbd 4 branch, courtenay group N ecu, lightened crank and flywheel, rod bolts and i am planning on doing a custom inlet but cant find info for what cams to use with the ecu and what power i will be looking at??

Could ask Courtenay what cams they recommend with that ECU? But I imagine any hydraulic/fast road style cams would be e.g. Kent AST1612, QED 42H.

160-170bhp max maybe?

Should be able to run any cams you want within reason.

Wouldnt bother with any fast road cam tbh. Gain a few bhp peak 4/500rpm higher but if you spend more time in mid range. Then std cams are fine. Got some rr results somewhere of an xe on jenveys with ast1612s and std cams. And kent made 173bhp@7.2or 7.4k atw and 169@6 9k atws. But more mid range power upto rev limit and torque than the 1612s.

Pocket pistons and run something abit more aggressive so worthwhile
