performance tyres for 14" wheels?????

Anyone have any good tyres in mind for fastroad use?

Deciding against the 15"steels as they weigh more then cav slabs lol

so going to buy some teardrops and want some half decent tyres for them :)

mate i expected something more expensive then you average 15" tyres but not a ton a wheel lol

When I ran 14" wheels I used 185/55/14, as they are a common size on peugeot 106 and citroen saxoAs for tyres I recommend uniroyal rainsport3 I fitted some to my wife's astra and I can't fault them for grip

pirelli p6000's are pretty good

some of the hankook stuff is also good.

look on the bay for part used ones... then you won';t have wasted big money if you don't like them

when i was playing with a 1400, i had 165/70r13's & they were actually a really good balanced tyre.. later on, i was using 185/60r14 yokos & they gripped like hell.... my 185/55r15 pirelli's are pretty good

185/60R14 Bridgestones on the Sport. Seem pretty grippy, quiet and a good price. Heard a lot of people say good things about Hankooks.

185/55 are more expensive. I can do 185/60 Hankooks at £52 each if you are having a set, that is cheaper than Black Circles ;)

i had some of those teardrops wheels, with 185/60/14 dunlop fast response tyres on, and i thought they were great tyres for the money.
