Hey, I'm hoping to have my nova finished for the show season this year and as I'm from Northern Ireland I'd like to get over to Pvs and hopefully billing, but I have never been at any big shows like them before so I'd like to know we're exactly there held, and do u need to book tickets before u go over, are they one or two day events? Any info would be greatly appreciated thanks

If you come over for any show make it billing. You'll get tickets cheaper if you precook and also I think it's the only way on the stand. It's a 2 day show but some people get there on Friday to make the most of it. As for location their both very close

You need to be on a stand as part of that club, otherwise park in the campsite/car park for the public.

PVS is based at Santa Pod raceway.

Based around the 1/4mile drag strip,
There is normally 30+clubs that attend.
Good amount of trade stands there too to buy bits from (mostly newer cars tho)
Tickets are about £15 ish for the day.

VBOA at Billing, is based at Billing Aquadrome In Northampton.
This show is spend over 3days (friday to sunday most of us do)
Its much more chilled out as its a park up and look at cars, rather than race or anything.
Its camping and normally BBQ,
You'll have 50+clubs go from very old 1930 cars up to new stuff.
There is a huge auto jumble to buy from, with lots of older stuff.
It's a family place,
Tickets are £30 for the weekend.

PVS is a good show in my eyes, ok yes there are a lot of cars in many colours such as arden blue, arden blue and arden blue. But, theres a lot of variety if you wander around, some decent cars drag racing, gives inspiration for your own cars and if your lucky you may get pod burn.

Ive only missed one since 2008 and that was down to rubbish weather, if I was you I would get there for the Friday/Saturday and make a weekend of it.

Ive still never been to billing, something I want to do, although I do like to see some speed involved in car shows rather than just looking at parked cars.

The billing shows sounds the better of the two, I'll prob jus go to billing as I'll be the only person to drive over from were I live so I couldn't get into a stand or anything so I think billing would be the better of the two choices,
