Tank vent valve

I had a look at the c20let vacuum hose thread in the article section and am wondering what is done with the tank vent valve? Im not running the hot start valve so it says to blank it off, if so,what do you do with the wiring plug?

Ive just plugged it in and piped it to tb breather.
