SBD exhaust manifold

SBD have stopped making these. Anyone got one they want to sell to suit 1.4/1.6 16v xe engine?

They were originally made by BTB anyway, maybe call them and see if they can help.

Otherwise if you ask Steve at SBD for the spec you could get one made elsewhere. He used to offer the spec up willingly, not sure if he still does. I had SRE make me up one to the same dimensions.

Yes, they were made at BTB, speak to Joe Ellis the owner of BTB. It won't be cheap though!

I can't imagine why they wouldn't be able to make one, many years ago I took them one of my Nova competition cars and they made a manifold and system on the car for me.

I've emailed BTB they simply don't/not willing to make them anymore. Simpson exhausts are going to be manufacturing similar spec in the next few months but come in at £780, hence hunt for second hand. Seem to recall SBD were selling them for £550.

This is the Simpson one being sold by ksp engines, direct is same price.

Yes they are £650+VAT for the manifold. Well worth it though.

The one in your picture above looks like a Dry Sump version. Be careful not to order that if you are on a standard oil pan and pump.

I might have one for sale ,new Btb that has been ceramic coated ,I bought it but it won't fit due to my dry sump pump ,won't be cheap though

Billy falkner does a good super 1600 spec ones in for 280ish we had one on a 1.6 16v and up at 230bhp and its a nice high flow manifold.
He can also supply the rest of the systeam to match.
