Is their a difference between the 16se and 16xe clutch. Could you fit a nova clutch for a e16se flywheel onto a corsa x16xe flywheel. Or are they different since one is flat type and other is pot type flywheel.

I believe they are different due to the flywheel differences the pressure plate on a 16xe sort of sits inside the pot type flywheel. However it's probably a good idea to put a flat one on as the pot type are heavier.

thanks. problem is i have bought a billet fly wheel and not sure if its a billet 16v or billet 8v one. its now flat so i take it the 8v one is the only one that will fit.

If it's flat then it's an 8v one if it has steps in it where the bolt holes are it's a 16v
8v is flat flywheel, 16v is pot flywheel. Pressure plates are different.
