my tappits are getting very noisy, is it aneasy job to sort them? get them swapped?

aslo it runs really rich- i thought the mixture was set automatically, can it be changed?

and it pinks like a bastard- and chokes it self up

Not a hard job to be honest, not much different than any other head i wouldn't think

Mmmmmmm, I would go and get your timing set and a rolling road session asap. Pinking is pre-detonation and can melt a pistion if not tended to ASAP.

I went through 3 pistons in my escort RS due to a pink in 5th :cry:

I dont think there is such a term as pre-detonation?
AFAIK pinking is pre-ignition as a result of detonation ie ignition of air/fuel mix before the spark.

The remedy is the same wotever :D
