My corsa sri c winter car

So I have taken the golf of the road for the winter so loads of things will be getting done to that. that means I have a winter car and I got a corsa c the other day was a hour half trip there and then about hour on way back with my mate driving it and me in my golf was a good drive back :) . so the next day was give it a little clean has a great engine just the body work needs a little work but is easy as the c has trims and bumper don't cost a lot for these cars it has full leather seats front heated seats has blue led dash lights I think it has corsa d alloys but I would love to get the sri wheels back on it its really good on fuel as well my plans are just to change the back bumper as the one on it is cracked and has loads of scuffs front bumper will be smoothed all the trims to be repainted spray some parts blue inside as well here some pics :)

Just a little update been on the hunt for a good condition back bumper so I found one and it is the right blue so done a deal and picked it up to day I am very pleased with it will fit it when I get some time so its next to the golf in the garage for now and I got new discs back and front for the car they will be fitted tomorrow :) that's it for now

So tonight me and my mate changed the discs on the front the rears are ok so I keep the new ones until I need to change them .

So today i changed the rear lights as my old one had rain water in it so of with the old on with the new i cleaned the body of were they go it was dirty not anymore now lol

Good choice of car and in the best colour. I have a 2005 Corsa C in ultra blue that i have fitted a 1.6 VXR engine and M32 6 speed box in that I use as my daily driver.

wow i would love to see some pics of that mate must be fun as a every day car whats it like in the wet tho ? my golf is lot of work in the wet all over the place if put foot down lol and yeah i wanted a c in this blue as i think its a nice blue :)

First one I know of running GM management. It's rubbish in the wet, really needs an LSD but good fun in the dry.

So little update when it rains the next day I go out I get water come down from the back of the dash on passenger side so had look under it to see were leaking from and talked to some people about it and was told it would be bcm cover so took the bcm cover out and the seal was perished so took the old seal out cleaned it and resealed the bcm cover last week and there is no more leaks :) but it was really stinky in the car still so I pulled up the carpet and there was loads of water under there so I have taken all the carpet out
the car and binned it all nice and dry in there now so maybe next week I will get a new carpet in there.

Weekend I painted the rear brakes and tried my spare bumper fits nice but cant use it yet as still got to get rear arch trims so back on with the old cracked one :(

Sri wheels will improve that massively Dave! Gloss black will work well with ultra blue too. If your looking to upgrade the suspension in the future let me know. I have a Bilstein b14 coilover kit which will be up for sale shortly ��

So other day I got the sri wheels fitted with tyres and I fitted them car just needs dropping a bit more now tho and need to get centre badges for them but I am happy with them :cool:

so whats next well end of the month the corsa comes off the road as tax runs out end month and the golf is almost ready for the road so that will be done for next month.
when corsa is off the road I will be ordering new arch trims all round and get them painted fit them and then I can fit my spare bumper which is good as its the same colour :) I also need to get front bumper as the one I have is broke and ant that good condition so will be on the hunt for a blue bumper .
needs dropping more and want to smoke the headlights that will be my summer jobs but off course its never going to stop lol .

Little update corsa have been back on road for about 2 weeks now and today me and my mate fitted the coilovers and we slammed it to the floor and on first drop tried my mates wheel on see what it would look like as a euro look lol

Cheers, Gaz coilovers all round fella to sit it that low. Not the cheapest option but if you spec the short bodied kit you could literally sit it truly on its arse. Mine could have still gone down a significant amount on the rear! You will need to shave the arch spats and mod the inner rear arches too for clearance however.

Is your corsa 1.8 ? and ok that's why yours is lower I have mine all the way down on back did want to run it with out cups but looked like the springs would fall out lol front ant all way down but In the week we are putting front up a bit I just wish the springs will settle down lol
