3 things, if any can help :

- i know the 12ST and 13S conrods are interchangeable (both journal and pin side) but are they the same length ?

- the 13S are stronger rods right ?

- and can the 12ST crank handle 100 ponies without crapping its knickers ? lol

cheers :thumb:

the 1300 rods must be different length, as you need to use the 1300 crank & rods for the "famous" 1400 conversion.

I suspect there isnt much difference in strength in the crank or rods, in fact as the 1200 is a shorter stroke engine I would of thought it would take more RPMs. the journal sizes etc re the same. I have seen std 1400 cranks used in some very high HP autograss engines so I dont think crank stength on the small blocks to be an issue.
