Just wanted to find out some info on these
(and please don't start posting that there common as hell, expression wheels are NOT the same!)

So has anyone got any info, was there a limited number of set's made? But more than the car iirc 500 Astra champion edition were made.
And what sort of price do you have to pay to buy a set, has anyone seen any for sale??

Cheers, Scott.

I've seen them go for about £200.
I think you could buy them as a upgrade so there where lots about.

pretty sure there 15 x 6 inch, the same dimensions as the expression rims.

the most obvious difference to me between the 2, is the 2 step lip on the edge of the rim of the champions.

i think they came with roughly 185 tyres as standard, but have heard alot of people running 195 on them, with no issues.

you might find a set on www.astra-mk2.com/forum if you check the for sale section and stick up a wanted.

Lol so they are basically as common in theory as expression wheels?

ive seen a couple of those cabroilets around, with the champ wheels.
not many though, there not as common as the cav expressions.

they deffo sell for more too, due to the rarity.
seen a few sets pop up on ebay now and then, £200 upwards from what i can remember.

Cheers for the info and replies guys, so, question is.... If you happened to find a set cheep, would you
A) paint them to what you want and fit to a nova.
B) keep them standard (possibly retain value?) fit to a nova.
C) try and sell them on for more money...?

My GTE Cab has them, pretty much why I bought the car, when I was looking, no others had them, bar 1 ridiculously overpriced GTE

Above, wheels are easy to paint back if needed.....

I'd sell to make a profit if you get some, personally if your thinking of getting some they're too similar to the gold alloys you had... Prefer the mistrals tbh :d
