In phunkynovas weber thread you had thoughts on your carbs, if they're not matched up and not setup correctly for you car your bound to be in trouble for them running.

http://www.pngclub.com/forum/showthread.php?209059-Webers

The help in that thread I gave regarding the carbs you've got May not be the best but the carbs you have for those specific models must be very old and bound to need a rebuild and setup un less you know other wise ;)

Ah does help if you explain that lol... So start again has the carb been serviced recently?

has it only just started playing up?

have you bought any new parts at all to rectify any problems?

Does sound like a fueling problem though, maybe crrap in the tank, have you a fuel filter fitted??

Have you checked the plugs at all??

is the timing okay?

Right, she's been run low on fuel a few times but doe have a filter fitted witch looks clean but will be replaced anyway.
Only just started today, and the carb has never been serviced in the time I've owned it (naughty me I know)
Haven't had time to check plugs or timing yet but will report back with that tomorrow

Also whipped the jets out and they looked clean

Bit at a time on this as it could be quite a few things, so we need to narrow it down I reckon ;)

When trying the timing do you you have a timing light for the cambelt to make sure it's spot on, also it may need advancing on the dizzy but let's start with the plug colours and take it from there :)

Ok, if it helps when I go full throttle it'll pop a bit and then clear and be fine untill I get to about 2k

How long have you had the car and how long have you driven it until this problem started?

Have you checked for any air leaks on the manifold?

If you've run it low though too many times it still could be a blockage somewhere in the fuel lines, try putting say £10 in it and take it for a good drive to see if it clears at all... As long as it's not cutting out all the time.

Not cutting out, just brimmed the tank and am going for a good 2 hour drive tomorrow. Owned it 2 years now done all the normal service work but not touched the carb as always told myself I'll get a twin choke. And the problem has been over about 3 days

Maybe the carb just needs a service but I'd still check the plugs to start with.

Now not starting at all, getting fuel, so looks to be ignition side of things, will test more when I get home, any ideas?

Have you checked your cambelt hasn't slipped, pull the cover off and have a quick look.

Right here's one for ya haha, pulled off king lead and checked connections, seemed fine and kept looking. Then accidentally cought a ratchet on it and poped it off. Went to pic it up and the insides had all come appart, replaced it and she started first time
