Intercooler pipes

I'm in the process of a c20let engine change and and after some advise, I have read that some people use 2.25" and 2.5" boost pipes but as the frontera intercooler and turbo and inlet all use 2" is there any gain by using larger pipes?

If you're using the frontera cooler - then there's not much point using the 2.25 or 2.5" pipework...if you're using a larger dia I/c then use the larger pipework.... but that's for 280+ bhp

There isn't any. Top hat can only suck in through a 2" hole, turbo out let is 2" too, so all the pipe work doesn't need to be bigger.

That's just what I thought about it being pointless as all the components are all 2"

I ran 2 inch at 280 so youll be fine
