Boot Ideas

When i was young and first got into the Nova scene a smooth boot was the done thing, but it just doesn't seem to look right these days.
So what im after is some ideas to what people do these days to the boot, im thinking maybe just remove the bit above the number plate or maybe just colour code it?

De wiper and remove plastic trim or better yet get an early pic spec boot already done

Completely standard boot is the way to go imo.

Dewiper, colour code the grab. If you have Central locking, i'd black the lock off, but leave the button.

Early type in fiberglass, smoothed lock, bonnet pins & modified Subaru double wing

Standard boot with yaris wiper. Looks spot on.

Early spec with smoothed wiper/washer. Optionally GSi top spoiler. Looks perfect to me.

Is it just me that finds on the early one, the number plate recess look too big? That's why i like the grab handle on them.. It makes it look smaller and suits the size/shape of the boot better....

The recess is smaller on the early ones, so it looks nice. It's the late ones with smoothed grab handles that look weird.

Is it? Thought they where the bigger ones, maybe its late one with out the handle then...

Mk1 early with the lock smooth.. THis looks good, Can't find a pic of the late one, that musdt be the one i think looks weird.

My personal preference is a mk2 boot with handle, smoothed lock button, de-wipered, bumper number plate light removed and smoothed (LEDs in the grab handle) and a GSi spoiler

it looks fairly stealth, and subtle.
i wouldnt bother doing it again tho.

That blue one was my mates (riggy's old one). Looked crap with the boot like that. I had an early one on my last nova and it looked much nicer but I still prefer a standard grab handle one.
