oil breather opinions

does the re-circulated oil vapour help to keep things lubed up in anyway ? (carb/throttle body moving parts/inlet valve seats)

or is it just a cack design, that would benefit from a catch tank.

i know you get a cleaner burn without it.

its a legal requirement for a road vehicle to only have one form of exhaust when it is built..... so the breather has to go somewhere, and that somewhere is the inlet.. it is not meant for any other use.
