Fuel pump wiring help

Right my m8 with corsa b with x14xe on bike carbs running megajolt with Facet external pump etc

right to the chase it's all wired in on a switch just we want to have it only pump when the engines turns over,

plus in the event off a crash the way it's wired now it will continue to pump etc, we have read u can use a oil pressure switch of some kind has anyone got any wiring diagrams or explanation on how we could do this

isnt it normally done with a relay linked to the ecu ?

Not when using a megajolt ignition only aftermarket ecu :/

So it's not just wired to ignition live then?
are you trying to get it to pump up then stop till it's needed ?

Sort of yes but mainly would would like it to shut off in the event of a crash etc as it was just continuely pump till it runs out of fuel

How about ignition live via one of the impact switches you get In modern cars the ones you need to re set after such an event

He could use a micro dynamics fpr01 relay. If the coil stops firing then so does the pump.
