Its Stuart, he didnt sell his nova and thats what he has done with it lol
thats what i was thinking....lol
i love how cool air is being used to power a nova, as most corsas seem to have been tuned using hot air & not much else
I just hope for his sake he has patented that idea, that could potentially be worth millions if not billions to him!
its hard to patent a law of nature...... cooled gases expand when warmed up.. just blow up a balloon & shove it into a carrier bag & stick it in the freezer..and once its proper cold & saggy, fetch it back out to room temperature.
all he is doing is basically running an air powered motor but doing away with a massive compressed air reservoir.
and a french bloke built a car years ago with an air motor

nah i have it ;)
Lol
I don't believe in using feck loads of energy to make an inefficient engine... The process to make the cold far outweighs what an average IC engine will do lol
he doesn't even come up with the most logical use for this engine.... powering icecream vans lol
I've been talking with someone about a project (employment related) and it has come to light that part of the project is the nova that ran on liquid air... I recall we did talk about it but cant find anything in the search... It was from this http://abcnews.go.com/Technology/vintage-car-runs-air/story?id=18738263

How much carbon do you have to produce elsewhere to liquefy air at -300deg?

Threads merged to make this easier to find Stuart lol
Lol, guess I'll be moderating that then :)

it seems to have deleted my post, as it was entered just before the threads merged.
probably just as well, as it was a load of drivel about steam engines, and pissing water out of every orifice lol
Were you referring to an xe with the 'porous' manufacturing fault where the casting cracks? Lol

nah, that guys crazy engine i meant.
the camera panned up to his protoype model, that was chugging away in the compartment, and water was pissing out of it, all over everything in sight.
quality bit of kit lol
a steam engine hanging off the front of the car would probably beat it in a drag race lol
I'm going to update my CV and atleast go and have a chat with them to see what the score is :)
