don't know if any use but I use an astra mk3 throttle cable on my 1300 corsa stockcar it has the right ends to work with a pierberg 2e3 but is a bit longer than the nova cable

I got a couple of random cables here. If its a length issue I could measure some up.

I have had a bit of a cowboy way of doing this. On my old SR basically I cut the cable shorter and got a chocablock terminal that is used for stereo wiring and then attached that to the cables at each end.
it worked for over 2 years btw ;)

if your using a long c20xe cable TJ, you might get away with putting a piece of rubber pipe over the end of the cable to take up the slack. at the throttle body end i mean, where the cable is in its holder.
bit of a cowboy job, but like southie said, even bodges can last if you do them right :)
