My golf broke its drive shaft I have ordered a new one but should I buy a new one for the other side ?

na the drivers side is fine was thinking if I get a new one on one side I should do the other tho

Starting to sound like kwik fit and edd China lol, we always do just one side of things at work even springs,
if it ain't broke don't fix it ;)

Its not a cheap throw away part like a balljoint. Tierod end or drop link so....no.

I know it ant cheap driver side is around £109 new the other side only cost me £40.00 new

Wouldn't bother but its worth checking the CVs on the other side for excessive play and renewing while you're there if it's a keeper IMO, as they'll probably be the same age.
