these engines are getting rare now, and this ones a good example, thats had additional service work money spent on it.
im loosing money selling it at £250.
i have an engine crane, so can lift it into a vehicle for you

Would this bolt straight into a 1992 1.2 merit ? Or would I need and conversion parts ?

Fuel tank is all I think

i have a 3 door injection fuel tank, pre-fitted with a 1.6 mpi pump, and injection fuel lines, and a new boxed fuel filter, that im also selling for £40.

ill knock off £20 if you buy them both :thumb:

Would that be all I'd need to do the conversion ? So mounts, radiator etc would all be the same ?

Also would that tank fit a 5dr loon ?

1.2 uses the same mounts, and driveshafts.
you'll need to do a bit of simple re-wiring, to link the engine and ecu to the car.
youll need to change the exhaust downpipe too, as i dont think the 1.2's is deep enough to go round the oil pan.
you can keep your current radiator, but the lower rad hose might need modifying/replacing.

im not 100% sure, but i think the 3 and 5 door fuel tanks are different, saloon models too possibly different ?

Loon/5 tank it will not fit but if it's spi tank with in tank pump you can fit a high pressure pump spi one and fuel lines need changing to ether cross ones or 8 mm copper pipe

the filler neck is at the back on 5door not the side as it is on hatch tanks
