mk2 to mk1

Sorry if it's been covered before but whats needed to swap a mk2 front end to a mk1? is it just the bumper and grille or is it the whole lot? headlights, wings etc etc?

Also i assume the rear bumpers are a straight swap?

have a good think before you even try it mate I had a mk1 nova and changed it to mk2 front and I wished I just left it but yeah it is easy to do :)

Been thinking about it for a while now and definitely want to get rid of all my gsi bits and go for 1.2 mk1 bumpers and grille. The mk1's just look alot nicer imo.

Also anyone know if mk1 rear bumper is the same size as the mk2? Just had a thought about if my exhaust will fit in same sort of area on bumper. hope that makes sense lol.

the rear bumper mounts are different and in a different place.Not difficult but summat to bear in mind.

The mk1 backbox sits at an angle towards the near side where the mk2 backbox sits straighter.

Cheers guys, 1 last question. Is there a height difference in the 2? I.e from bottom of the tail lights where bumper starts to the lowest part?
