clutch pedal

Hi there I have a Mk2 with 20xe and it has a nova gsi clutch cable on it and it keeps on popping off from pedal I'm not sure ifI have fitted it correctly has anybody got any pics or anything so I can see how mine should be I have tightened it up on gearbox end but not sure on pedal....any help would be greatly appreciated...

Have you made sure the retaining clip is fully pushed in on the pedal??

That's the problem aswell I'm not sure how the clip is supposed to go....

It pushes into the hole on the pedal witch stops the cable from coming out.
