As your wanting the standard look I'd just buy a pair of new ones, only £30 and you'll have a better finish.

Non-genuine though so the fit may not be great. Just search what people recommend for the bumpers, UPOL greys come out top.

cheers guys.
i cant afford new mirrors, but that braun looks a good match.
i have a can of matt black handy tho. i may just spray it with that, to hide the colour, and get a replacement gm cover sometime in future.
or i suppose i could always sand it back to the original plastic, and cut the scratches out. maybe alot of effort tho.
Mk1 base spec model use Upol Mid grey plastic paint,
Sport, SRs, MK2s or anything sporty use dark grey, suits the mk2 better.
I have used both colours, My mk2 SX had the dark grey, looks very factory.
and the Mk1 loon had the mid grey for the sleeper look!

+ is the upol dark grey only available in aerosol or can you buy it suitable for a spray gun?
