Why is buying a car so hard

Soooo,
ive been looking for the right nova for nearly a year now.
ive found 3 in that time that are what I'm looking for and in my price range.
the first one the seller didn't bother getting back to me
the second has the cash ready to go but then they decided to sell elsewhere
the third they don't have the v5 as it's elsewhere in the country registered to someone else but only told me as I'm leaving to part with my money!!

please tell me there Re some decent, honest novas and sellers out there!

what is it your looking for somethig modified or a clean base to do your own thing?

Ideally a mark 2 with a bit of go!
As its a second car I don't want to be doing any work!
ive looked at 1.4, 1.6 and 2.0l
i know they are getting rare but they are all rust buckets or stupidly high money.

Didn't read his 2nd post, cba tbh. It's easy to find a car if you look.. What's wrong with a small engine Nova? You can lose you lic in a 1lt... Some bits of the 4th i like...
