Need to get some sheet metal for some patches/repair sections on the nova, what thickness would you recommend? 1mm?

I'm not sure what most people use but I'd have thought 1mm would be way to flimsy?

Edit: just had a look at 1mm sheet just now will probably be ok actually not as flimsy as I thought it would be.

I use 1.5 if I can, most of my old td was done in 2mm but thats because it was all I had.

I'd go with 1.5mm if I were buying some.

Would that be ideal for fabricating new splash guards for both inner arches 1.5mm as I need to replace the driver's side

Maybe 1mm is sufficient for those. I used an old bonnet to fabricate myself those.
